VMA's..
Well, Memphis apparently lost the chance to host the MTV VMA awards here to Miami.Some MTV reps came here to check it out and got the grand tour,and last week a DJ for this radio station got murdered in her apartment and then they announced that Memphis wouldn't be hosting them due to a number of reasons(probably the fact that there are alot of crimes). ~~~I wish I were an oscar mayer weener then everyone would be in love with me~~~ hehe..anywho, I had an awesome dream...but I think I'll keep it a secret..you know what they say- things lose power if you talk about them. Well i may not be going to the strokes concert afterall, but I probably will be going to some Concert in the Graden type thingy here in June.And then theres Memphis in May coming up where they have a number of concerts down by the river.I think I'll go check it out, but don't worry- I won't forget the peper spray. ;) Ciao Bello!! New
Ok guys, I need a new name.A new username. I think I'm starying to forget who I actually am!Its intense undergoing 2 moves in one school year.But I enjoy it.So I think I'm going to create a new account here,because this one is slowly dieing.Soon it'll be all depressing and then CAPUT,I'll leave it. So, this week has been interesting.I'm deliberately avoiding Britney,the chick that lives up the road.She keeps calling me!!! it's getting so annoying.Truly.She's so "ghetto-fied". Well, I am almost fully registered at that camp thingy thats in midtown.I really can't wait.Yes,I'm a dork. Talked to Alicia today.She updated me on the latest of the s-burg drama.Chris has a girlfriend and we miss the old chris!! Stoner visits sometimes.Everyone misses that kid!I miss him a bazillion times more bc they get to see him sometimes.I don't:( ...ever!No fair!!Anyways she discussed the NY trip and how she rides on Deanna's and John's bus since I left.It was the better of the buses. I hardly talk to Shannon lately. Ok, so I am having major Stroudsburg withdrawl.I never really had the time to think about it, but now I miss it like crazy.I miss the people.Here everyone is a radical and somewhat stupid. I miss walking downtown.I can't walk downtown here.I can't walk anywhere here.I'm sort of stuck.I kinda like it here-all the things there is to do,anyways-but it's so freaking dangerous. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I KNOW IN WHICH SOMEONE ROBBED A KROGER's.A freaking grociery store. The other night I was in Walgreen's(it's the Eckerd's of the South) and this freaky looking gang-banger was slowly going behind the counter.He was going to rob that place, and I wasn't gonna stick around to find out! lol. I mean, this Place had a Mall...a HUGE mall and it had 200 stores and an ice-skating rink in it.It was called the Mall of Memphis.Then people started getting murdered right in the mall! Then it got the wonderful nickname "the Mall of Murder". Ick. But there is still alot to do,and I'll find it! Later mon petit chat. PS..I'm going to change my name! Gimme ideas. Driving down Union~
Well, today we went driving downtown- turns out parts of it are condemmed and parts of it are still pretty gorgeous,like the Peabody Hotel.It's famous incase you didn't have a clue,hehe,for these little ducks that walk down the stairs to the water fountain in the lobby everyday at like noon. well it's very old-like 1900's-ish. We went to lunch at TGI Frridays.It was pretty nice.It's nice where the tourists are usually hanging out.There re some neat boutiqes and it's pretty nice.Nicer than I thought it would be, but hey, you only know what people tell you. anywho-there is some good stuff around here,as in places to visit,just don't go there at night! lol-fun. I know that Rooney is coming to the University of Memphis in April, and I think that's awesome because I live like 15 minutes away.I hope I can go!! Ciao mon petit chou!! Back...
Ok, so I haven't exactly updated le journal very much..well, I moved...AGAIN.To Memphis.Heh. The crime here is wild! Downtown is very bad, but there are a few streets that are great-like Beale street.It's a huge tourist attraction because i's nothing but restraunt gift shops, and night clubs.There are always people there 24-7. It's weird because it's like one streets good,one's dangerous.People get killed there all the time!And the city is so ghetto.The mansions here are so cheap that the poeple that moved in them are really bad.These are the best looking ghettos ever!lol. SO I am homeschooled now.No comment.I suppose it's good bc I don't have to wake up early.And I have time to do what I want. There are absolutely No people here my age.Ick. Anywho...Its 79 degrees out today and I think I'll go watch a movie. Ciao Bello. It never rains in California
I had a nice friday and Saturday.Last night I went to the movies and saw Confessions of A teenage drama Queen.Then I went and pathetically saw it again today.Haha.It was a good movie.Definetly my type.Hey,it's about me! That aide i want to do something.Something interesting and fun.I don't know what though.I want to try something new,like picking up and instrument.That should be fun,i had a clarinet and taught myself it in 3 weeks.I think I want to try piano or something like that.It never hurts to have many skills. Whoa
Ok, so I totally forgot about my journal sitting here all alone!Well alot has happened these past weeks. Valentines day, even though it was a boyfriendless day, definetly wasn't a guyless day! I went to a Huge basketball game,Austin Peay state University Vs. Murray state.That rivalry interestingly enough, goes back like 60 years.It was sold out, and a HUGE deal to everyone around here.It was awesome.We won, hands down. On a lighter note, I got shannon's Valentine card!! That made my day totally because I got it ON Valentines day! how awesome is that? VERY.Ok, I'm a tad hyper.I saw that movie "Miracle" nd it was great, boy lemme tell you it had some cute guys in it.So go see it! lol. Well,it sucks around here if you like snow.I mean, we were supposed to get like 5 inches, and everyone got it except us.The whole state got it except us!!How sucky is that? Well nothing is on tv so I'm watching Oprah.lol.It's a good show.Yetserday the girls from Sex& the City were on because it's there last show on Sunday.That's sad,lol. I wish I were so worthy to live in New York City.I miss it so! But thats alright, I'll move in with shannon in a few years anyways,haha. man I want to go shopping.Theres no where to walk around here.People here are lkike 500 pounders,because there are hardly any stores, just restraunts.They have EVERY chain restraunt you could think of withing 2 miles.Its all spread out though, so I can't even walk to those unless I feel like getting hit on the highway.lol. Snow day?
Haha, ok.So i woke up at 6:20 and got dressed, did the hair thing and grabbed my bag and ran down the wooden steps only to find them covered in absolute slush. My mom called my aunt who is on the school DL and she said there was no school....No school?? For what?! Theres nothing outside now, suckers.Shheeesh.haha,oh well...the jokes on them. Today was good, until NOW.I just got back from school, brit brit and amanda and i were practicing our lovely routine that we have no friggin idea on what the hell we are doing! Then to top it off, i tried to be nice and make conversation with this chick, isabelle, whom i knew 4 years ago, cuz we had acting lessons together when i was in 6th grade,and so the thing begins: I asked if she still took those lessons and we talked about that and stuff and then she said that her and her sister are staring in this play.Now, you may think that's great and all....but NO.IT'S NOT COOL AT ALL.AT ALL!!!!! See,they are what I should be if we never left here.They are what we would call the "Goden Child".The favorite.I was their favorite from the time i was there....but then we moved.I was taking lessons there for 2 years and was even in a play there. Ok, so I'm jealous.And I'm whining.But, it pisses me off to face them.I feel like the red-headed stepchild. I don't regret it, but these guys were important- they lived and went to school in New York City and did all the things I want to do! They could have really helped me. And I don't regret leaving here for S-burg, I made alot of good friends there that I won't forget. Ok, so I hate school. I agree with shannnon.Why do we other intelligent life forms not interested in becoming a paleintologist or proctologist have to survive the grueling studies of math and sciences. My theater arts teacher even understands.She once told me that she understands how the artists have trouble in Math and Sciences because their minds just aren't there! She understands, why can't the world?! No offense or anything to the future doctors and lawyers and gynecologists.haha. I have a could.I keep blowing my nose and drinking Mexican kool-aid that I bought at wal-mart for 28 cents.Good stuff. Well, school was school.I'm pissed because brit and Amanda(whom have the cds didn't come to theater arts today).And like, WHOA did you cathc that half-time show? I'm sorry but seeing Janet JAckson's bare booby wasn't on my agenda.Now they are saying it was an accident? How is Justin Timberlake obliviously reaching across her chest and pulling off her plastic bra thingy off an accident? Oh, I don't have a clue, lol. Well in English today i got assigned the part of the director for the play Antigone.I got to cast it too.heh.I let Lauren be Antogone only because we go waaaay back.like 4 years.haha.We hardly got along in 6th grade, imagine the conversation nowadays! I wanna go to school in New York so bad.I'm thinking about it so hard.lol, oh well. Mike and Slayden are the MC's for the lip synching concert thursday and Friday,haha.That should be good, except Slayden is crazy, and well, Silent Mike is just Silent.He hates Brit Kelly.Just because, haha.And the Other britnye likes him sort of.And me? I don't really like any of the guys here, I mean, they are ok, but that's it.All Abercrombie model wannabe look alikes.And they know it too! Come on...
Ok, so heres how today went, it's rather nice:) I was outside at my freezing bus stop, we had a 1 hour delay, and all the guys were there and that girl fromt he middle school.Well, it started to snow,and I couldn't feel my legs/nose/ears/hands..so I walked across the street cut through the woods and went to my apt., well my mom was saying 'nooo! go back!" lol, bc i can't miss much school here, and i did, but then at 5 after, Tina wasn't there, and it was waaay too cold out to be standing there waiting, so the guys said "it's 5 after 8, have a good day at school!" and they started walking to Kirk's house, and then I was like , why should I have to suffer?! So I told the little girl goodbye, and I walked across the street, then the little girl started walking home.haha, the whole bus stop left and went home! We all get a wonderful warm 3 day weekend!! Then today Amanda,Britney and I were supposed to go to Britnye's house at like 4:30 to practice out wonderful choreography skills for the lipsynching project we have to do for theater arts. It was a blast!haha, well I got to Britnye's house at like 5:20 because I couldn't get a ride, so then Ann drove me there. We went upstairs and watched bring it on to get some dance moves because we are doing the song "mickey" from the end of it...we stole every move! haha. Her brother was real good about not bothering us.Britney has been absent the past few days so she was behind on the dancing to my song, but she caught on after 3 times.We worked on the other britnye's song , "your so vain" by Carly Simon.That one is definetly one of the best.Amanda's song is kinda hard although it has mucho beats.Oh well.Her mom ordered pizza and we watched Alot of Bring it on.Then we practiced again,haha. Amanda offered to drive me home, and I was a little scarred because her entire right side of her car is totaled, haha. Ok..and the finally: Ben Jelen.I love that guy! hes so adorable!
